Lead British International School Limited (LBIS) is a Co-educational model school established by intelligent and seasoned academics and educational administrators who commonly share the vision of giving back to the nation’s educational system. LBIS caters for day students from crèche to 18 years and currently has over a thousand students with 400 boarding students in its secondary school. The School is staffed by qualified and experienced teachers, with modern ICT infrastructure and both are located in an outstanding environment, highly conducive to learning. LBIS currently has campuses in Abuja and Ibadan. Due to the commitment of the Board and Management of LBIS to expand its innovative brand of learning and teaching to other parts of Nigeria, a new campus is to be opened in Osogbo, Osun State.

Job Title: Accountant / Bursar

Location: Osogbo Campus, Osun

Job Overview

• The Bursar is responsible for the schools’ strategic planning, that is all financial implications and ensuring the school makes best possible use of the resources available by preparing and planning of the school’s annual budget and ensuring that the budget is administered and monitored in accordance with the needs of the school.

Qualifications, Skills and Competencies

• Must possess a Degree in a finance related field including a Degree in Accountancy, Economics, Financial or Business Administration will be an added advantage.
• Must have a minimum of ten (10) years cognate experience in similar role in a reputable organization;
• Possession of professional qualification including ACA ACMA, CPA, ACCA, ICAN, or ANAN will be an added advantage;
• The candidate must possess strong financial accounting skills;
• Must have the ability to prepare budgets and manage it efficiently;
• Must possess working knowledge and skills in taxation;
• Must have commercial awareness;
• Must have exceptional planning and organizational skills;
• Must be hard working, able to multi-task and work long hours.
