Lead British International School Limited (LBIS) is a Co-educational model school established by intelligent and seasoned academics and educational administrators who commonly share the vision of giving back to the nation’s educational system. LBIS caters for day students from crèche to 18 years and currently has over a thousand students with 400 boarding students in its secondary school. The School is staffed by qualified and experienced teachers, with modern ICT infrastructure and both are located in an outstanding environment, highly conducive to learning. LBIS currently has campuses in Abuja and Ibadan. Due to the commitment of the Board and Management of LBIS to expand its innovative brand of learning and teaching to other parts of Nigeria, a new campus is to be opened in Osogbo, Osun State.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Corporate Affairs Manager / Business Development Strategist

Job Overview

  • The ideal candidate is responsible for developing and executing the PR and marketing strategy that upholds the School’s national and international reputation as a leading independent school.
  • S/he is responsible for all of the School’s press and written communications (including social media), print materials, digital and video content.
  • S/he will also ensure that trends in marketing within the sector are reflected in the overall School strategy. The role will involve content development, deployment, traffic management and data analysis/interpretation from data gathered from various platforms.
  • The role will also require the Corporate Affairs Manager to initiate and execute strategic actions based on the result of data analysis.

Qualifications, Skills, Competencies and Expectations

  • A Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent from a recognized university preferably with a major in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
  • Master’s Degree in the relevant field of study is an advantage.
  • Experience in marketing in the education sector is desirable
  • Must possess a minimum of eight to ten (8 to 10) years cognate experience;
  • Must have understanding and interest in the education and knowledge management services industry.
  • Passion for business development and customer relationships.
  • Must have the ability to inspire and motivate others through leadership.
  • Must demonstrate commitment to teamwork as well as being able to work independently;
  • Must have effective communication skills, strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must have an ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Must be willing to travel extensively, be proactive, energetic, and flexible.
  • Must be computer literate and have ability to use CorelDraw, Video –editing applications, website management, Adobe Creative Cloud or any other similar application.
  • Must have strong marketing and networking skills and ability.
  • Must show evidence of successes recorded in the past in growing businesses.
  • Must be familiar with modern social media platforms and be able to deploy same for brand visibility, promote content and drive traffic.
  • The ability to initiate, supervise and review creation of content for an international school.
