Job Summary

  • Employee Services Manager manages the selection, design, and implementation of employee engagement programs geared to attract and retain employees. Responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the functions, activities, and supervising the staff of the Employee Resource staff in the functions of administration, payroll, hiring and recruiting, benefits, and compensation. Ensure Employee retention through engagement and good HR practices.

Responsibilities 

  • Plan both short- and long-term HR strategic objectives for the MSA working with the Upstream HR Function
  • Support Organization resource or Novation of HR contracts/contractors.
  • Offer professional Human Resource advice to the organization, department managers, and staff.
  • Supervise and direct the activities of outsourced employees in the functions of administration, hiring and recruiting, payroll, benefits, and compensation
  • Emphasize work objectives, explain the importance of reaching them with efficiency, sustain interest in tasks, and understand the personal needs of subordinates to be able to provide individual coaching.
  • Review individual performance and advise on job improvement, future career paths and interpersonal behavior.
  • Provide disciplinary action as necessary.
  • Ensure efficient coordination of administration, hiring, benefits, and payroll activities for ND Jobs.
  • Allocate resources (people and materials) between jobs and organize them to meet objectives.
  • Set up administrative systems to help implement quality work.
  • Develop and communicate policies and procedures when necessary.
  • Decide courses of action after thorough evaluation, peer reviews, and on own initiative as needed.
  • Encourage cooperation between team members of the Employee Resources Department

Qualification and Experience 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or closely related field.
  • Possess minimum of 5 years active experience in Human Resources with Supervisory Experience.
  • Human Resources training certification would be an added advantage.
  • Possesses excellent communication skills and possess critical evaluation skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
