Job Title: Technical Buyer
Location: Onne, Rivers
Responsibilities
- To assist the Head of Procurement and Contract with ensuring goods, services and works are procured in the most appropriate manner
- To ensure compliance with approved procurement policies
- Collaborate with other Technical Buyers to ensure efficient/optimal sourcing of materials and services for the smooth and continuous operations, maintenance and management of Plant Operations.
Degree
- Graduate of Analytical Sciences, Engineering, Management, Economics, etc. from any Higher Institution/Universities
Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years relevant work experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Knowledge:
- Locol/International Market knowledge of supply chains covering
- Procurement Scope for Administration and Corporate Spend.
- Basic to Good knowledge of International Trade Laws and Logistics.
- Contract conditions, terms of payments, commercial law. Knowledge of principles of providing customer and personal services.
- Knowledge of business principles involved in strategic planning and other relevant areas
