Job Title: Orthopedic Surgical Nurse

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Orthopedic Theatre Nurse to join our growing healthcare team. In this role, the Nurse will be part of the Surgical Team.
• Experience in Ortho surgical cases is key and other surgeries will be added bonus to the selection.
• Should have good experience and skills in hip, knee, Joint Replacement & Trauma Surgeries.

Responsibilities

• To assist the surgeon in the Procedures & Surgeries carried out in the OT.
• To ensure sterility in OT and autoclaving of Instruments.
• To ensure the safety of patient in the theatre.
• To hold the responsibility to council and coordinate with the patient, surgeon, anesthetist for the Cases.
• When not busy in the OT, needs to manage the ER Department with the team.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with Nursing Council of Nigeria.
• Added certifications in Surgical Areas is an added bonus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a standard Specialist Hospital.
• Good interpersonal skills and communication with a wide variety of patients, medical staff, and caregivers
• Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and Hospital Management Information System.
• Compassionate and sensitive to patients' needs and concerns.
• Should be ready to accommodate on the working hours needs of the Surgeries and OT as some can be elective or emergency.

Salary
N200,000 Monthly.
