Job Summary

• We are looking for an experienced baker to create recipes, order ingredients, coordinate baking activities to prepare varieties of bakery product.

Responsibilities

• Assess the quality of raw materials before baking.
• Create recipe, bake and decorate varieties of bakery products.
• Manage needed supplies and inventory.
• Make requisition when necessary.
• Ensure a tidy environment according to organization standard.
• Shape dough to prepare different types of bakery products.
• Track supplies, place orders and document accurately.
• Measuring and combining ingredients to make baked products.

Qualifications / Experience

• SSCE, OND, HND
• Minimum of 1 years experience needed.

Skills / Abilities:

• Previous experience as a baker.
• Must be detail-oriented with ability to manage time effectively.
• Excellent planning skills with ability to work around customer needs.
• Track record of problem solving skills.
• Efficient documentation.
• Understanding of food safety practices.
• Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with all professional kitchen equipment, including mixers, blenders and dough sheeters.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certification is an added advantage.
