Job Description

• Preparing reports and communicating the insights of these reports to the management.
• Analyzing the financial performance and identifying trends for the business
• Developing financial models and forecasts.
• Initiating financial strategy, guiding investment decisions, and developing modeling techniques.
• Providing strategic and commercial leadership on financial matters
• Providing guidance to the business financial planning
• Assessing and creating or developing business cases and investment proposals for the projects
• Analyzing new investment and business opportunities through valuation models.
• Evaluating cross-company activities for best-practices efficiency opportunities
• Managing financial and operational reporting needs
• Working collaboratively with the finance team to ensure the implementation of key financial initiatives.
• Proactively supporting other strategic initiatives as requested by management
• Ensuring adherence to financial policies and standard operational procedures.
• Managing investment portfolios and engaging the Finance team in achieving overall financial milestones

Requirements
Qualification and Experiences:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or any other related discipline
• An MBA, CFA, or equivalent will be an added advantage
• Four (4) or more years of experience in Private Equity, Venture Capital, asset management, and financial institution.
• Experience with statistical analysis and financial forecasting
• Proficient in financial modeling techniques and valuation methods.

Skills and Competences:

• A strong understanding of macroeconomics, capital markets trends, competitor activities, industry dynamics, and customer trends·
• A good understanding of key metrics that drive the performance of different industries.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills·
• Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office, and financial software applications
• A professional with an entrepreneurial and client focus mindset·
• Ability to perform in a high-pressure environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience with budget management, public accounting, cash flow budgeting, and financial modeling experience is a must.
• Advanced Excel and presentation-building skills with experience in building financial models and clear, concise presentation materials.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Passionate about building new capabilities.
• Ability to partner cross-functionally, influence, and communicate with all levels of management.
