Job Title: IT Officer

Job Summary

• We are looking for a talented and dynamic IT Officer with a proven track record of providing technical support and ensuring the whole company runs smoothly.
• This position requires the ability to monitors and maintains the company computer systems, installs, and configures hardware and software, and solves technical issues as they arise.

Key Responsibilities

• Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
• Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
• Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
• Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)
• Setting up accounts for new users
• Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
• Implement security measures.
• Monitor security certificates and company compliance of requirements
• Offer technical support to company staff and troubleshoot computer problems
• Install and update company software and hardware as needed.
• Anticipate and report the cost of replacing or updating computer items
• Ensuring security of the physical and virtual components of Information Technology such as security of the server rooms and installing virus protections and firewalls.
• Organizing data, storing them securely and creating backups.

Requirements

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other related fields
• 1 -3 years of proven IT experience
• Be proactive, organized and handle work under stressful and uncertain environments.
• Innovative thinker with the ability to come up with creative solutions.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentations skills
• Must reside in Lagos.
