Administrative Officer I at the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUOE)

The Ignatius Ajuru University of Education is a multi-campus University with its main campus at Rumuolumeni Town in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State. The other campuses are located at Ndele in Emohua Local Government Area and St. John's Diobu in Port Harcourt City Local Government Area of Rivers State. The institution which is the second University of Education in Nigeria started as a College of Education in June 1971, and was affiliated to the University of Ibadan.

Qualifications
To be appointed Administrative Officer I:

• Candidate must possess a good honours University Degree preferably in the Humanities or Social Sciences from a recognized University with at least a 2nd Class Honours (Lower) Division and must have completed the NYSC (where applicable).
• Candidate must show proven ability for expression in both oral and written English.
• Candidate must have at least three (3) years of administrative experience on the job plus a satisfactory confidential report from previous employers or possession of a Masters degree in relevant field.
• Candidate must be computer literate.

Condition of Service

• All Successful candidates will be on probation for two (2) years continuous service after assumption of duties, thereafter they will retire at the age of 65 years.
• Other conditions are similar to those obtainable in other institutions of higher learning in Nigeria. Persons who are above 50 years of age are not eligible to apply.
