Job Brief

• A Business Development Officer main goal is to identify opportunities for business growth and create marketing strategies based on those opportunities in order to meet and exceed revenue goals.

Responsibilities

• Business development, sourcing for credit and development
• Establish effective and well-organized credit and investment processes.
• Prepare a credit report of client facility for management's approval
• Monitor and follow-up for repayment of client's facility
• Visits and recover repayment from customer
• Manage and uphold current client relationships.
• Analyzing current and past financial data and providing strategies to cut costs and increase revenue
• Leading the charge on market research plans to identify new opportunities
• Encouraging new and existing clients by creating and improving proposals
• Tracking expenses and maintaining the company budget.

Requirements and Qualifications

• HND / B.Sc Degree in any relevant field
• 2 - 4 years of work experience in related field
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access and industry-specific analysis software
• Basic understanding of the industry.
