Job Summary
  • This role has overall responsibility for the group’s personnel and training strategy
  • He/She also contributes to overall company strategy and policy making by advising the board on the personnel and/or human resource implications of its decisions
Primary Responsibilities
  • Overall control of the personnel/human resource function
  • Formulating talent management systems and strategies appropriate to the company’s corporate mission and goals
  • Keeping the company informed on personnel and employee-relations policies, as needed, to preserve and facilitate company strategy
  • Improving management/employee communications, including mediating in disputes and advising line managers on how to implement personnel policies.
Job Requirements
  • First degree in Social Science or any related discipline
  • Relevant professional qualifications such as CIPD, CIPM, GHPR etc will be an added advantage
  • Masters degree will be added advantage
  • Minimum of 15 years experience in Human resources, 5 of which must have been in at senior management level.
