We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Intern - Civil Engineer / Builder

Job Description

  • The site engineer will coordinate the planning, directing, coordinating activities concerned with the construction and pavement of projects.
  • Participates in the conceptual development of a construction & Real Estate project of the company and oversee its organization, scheduling and implementation

Responsibilities

  • Work with superintendents and foremen to plan, organize and direct activities concerned withconstruction projects.
  • Assist in Establishing project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of company policy and contract specifications.
  • Assist in confering with supervisors and foremen to discuss such matters as work procedures, complaints and construction problems.
  • Assist in Monitoring and controling of projects through administrative direction of on-site foremen to ensure project is completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Asist in Investigatingpotentially serious situations and implement corrective measures.
  • Monitor requisition supplies and materials to complete project.
  • Assist in organizing contractors including carpenters, electricians, plumbers and painters to carry out building tasks.
  • Ensuring proper finishing of all construction projects
  • Formulate reports concerning such areas as work progress, costs and scheduling.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have a B.Eng / B.Tech or HND in Civil Engineering OR Building Technology
  • Experience: 1 - 2 years
  • Highly organized
  • Detail oriented
