May University Press Limited is a strategic research and publishing company based in Magodo area of Lagos, Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

Job Title: Writer, Transcriptionist and Office Assistant

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Roles and Responsibilities
Writer:

• Conduct research to obtain factual information and authentic detail, utilizing sources such as libraries and archives, newspaper accounts, diaries and interviews.
• Create and submit write-ups for approval, and re-write and revise written works to meet standards required by the company and its clients.
• Take on various writing, re-writing and reading assignments.

Office Assistant:

• The Office Assistant responsibility also includes cleaning and general maintenance of the office.

Requirements

• A good First Degree in the Humanities and Social Sciences.
• A minimum of two (2) years work experience in a related position.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a sound knowledge of the structure and use of English in various contexts.
• Good planning and research skills.
