Due to expansion, a well established, fully accredited National Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) based in Lagos but with offices in the geo-political zones of the Country requires the addition of a capable hand to drive business growth, open new markets and take care of operational activities. We, therefore, seek a highly intelligent personality for the post of the position of:

Job Title: Chief Operating Officer


Location: Lagos

Job Description
  • The COO should be an experienced medical mind (minimum 15 years post qualification), with considerable understanding of the health insurance market in Nigeria and in-depth working knowledge in the operations of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS).
  • The candidate will report directly to the Managing Director/CEO of the organization.
Requirements
Other expectations are:
  • A good University degree.
  • Possession of a master's degree in a relevant field and /or degree in any medical field will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 7 years in a Senior Management position with an accredited HMO.
  • Must not be less than 40 years of age.
  • Must be ready to travel within and outside Lagos for operational activities.
  • Must be Computer literate (e.g. Microsoft office applications).
  • Sound business acumen and good marketing skills.
  • Must be able to interpret financial data/reports.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Good organizational and staff management skills.
  • Experience of working with people of diverse disciplines and cultures.
