Job Description
- The COO should be an experienced medical mind (minimum 15 years post qualification), with considerable understanding of the health insurance market in Nigeria and in-depth working knowledge in the operations of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS).
- The candidate will report directly to the Managing Director/CEO of the organization.
Requirements
Other expectations are:
- A good University degree.
- Possession of a master's degree in a relevant field and /or degree in any medical field will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 7 years in a Senior Management position with an accredited HMO.
- Must not be less than 40 years of age.
- Must be ready to travel within and outside Lagos for operational activities.
- Must be Computer literate (e.g. Microsoft office applications).
- Sound business acumen and good marketing skills.
- Must be able to interpret financial data/reports.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Good organizational and staff management skills.
- Experience of working with people of diverse disciplines and cultures.
