Job Title: Business Development Executive
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- Our client is seeking to recruit a Business Development Executive who will be responsible for identifying new sales leads, pitching products and maintaining fruitful relationships with distributors, customer outlet owners + merchandiser management.
Role and Responsibilities
- Identifying new individuals and potential new markets
- Researching the needs of the customers and learning who makes purchasing decisions
- Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
- Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
- Range selling, In store display, Price point management, Right placement of products in store
- Business development executive is also obligated to write reports and provide feedback to upper management about what is and is not working
- Required to work 8am – 5pm (Mondays – Fridays), but may be required to put in additional hours should any such need arise.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and other business related courses
- Sales/marketing experience in manufacturing and fast-moving consumer goods companies
Required Skills:
- Strong communication skills
- Creative talents and the ability to solve tough problems
- In-depth knowledge of the industry and its current events
- The ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
- Skill in prioritizing and triaging obligations
- Attention to details
- Excellent time management and organization
- Socially adept
- Good with numbers.
Salary Range
N1,200,000 - N1,400,000 per annum
