Job Title: Subject & Language Teacher (French, Computer Science & Spanish)
Location: Ibeju Lekki, Lagos

School Status: British / Nigerian and Christian Curricula
Start Date: September, 2022
Responsibilities
- Provided syllabi with learning outcomes based on the goals established by the school
- Mentored and supported pupils to ensure understanding and assimilation of subject matter
- Communicated effectively with pupils and colleagues to ensure goals are met, to make revision and reviews
- Discovered pupil’s skills inability and presented it to their parents for follow up
- Responsible for organizing classes and learning resources to create a positive learning environment.
- Maintaining productive working habits and discipline in the classroom.
- Supervising students throughout the day, both in the classroom and outside during breaks.
- Assessing and evaluating students’ educational progress and abilities.Use relevant data to monitor progress, set targets, and plan subsequent lessons
- Create lesson plans for each class based on the curriculum and the students’ specific needs
- Introduce interactive activities into the classroom and encourage pupils to contribute optimally
- Communicate with other team members as well as with parents about students’ progress and behaviour
- Join the rotation of teachers who assist with start-of-day and end-of-day student care procedures.
Requirements
- B.Sc, B.Ed, HND or NCE
- A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
- Outstanding interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
- Exceptional leadership abilities with great attention to detail.
