Job Title: Animal Nutritionist / Scientist
Location: Oluyole, Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Working with clients to formulate diets that meet their requirements/objectives
- Interface with production and store department.
- Supervise and monitor the production process.
- Act as a production quality control officer
- Analyzing nutritional disorders
- Maintaining awareness of technical and scientific developments
- Supporting the work of agricultural advisers/consultants
- Visiting farms
- Calculating and assessing the relative nutritional values of various feeds
Requirements
- Any Agro Animal Nutrition related Degree
- A minimum of 1 year of work experience.
- Ability to undertake independent research.
- Ability to communicate with clients, customers and fellow scientists.
- IT and numeracy skills.
- Animal nutritionists must have a sound grasp of mathematical concepts to be able to calculate food ratios.
- Self-management and self-motivation.
- Ability to write reports and keep good records.
