We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Dog Handler

Location: Surulere, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Liaising with the dog owner to determine the type of training required.
• Care for dogs of all breeds and sizes
• Monitor dogs in play areas, maintain a clean environment and manage dog behavior
• Engage in one-on-one Enrichment services, Play fetch, run sniff & seek activities, and snuggle sessions!
• Clean and maintain kennel, play and common areas, disinfects cages, food and water containers.
• Feed dogs and administer medications.
• Perform bathing and grooming services including baths, nail trimmings, ear cleanings, etc.
• Promptly reporting injuries, accidents or any medical issues to the owner.
• Safely and humanely handling of the dogs by adhering to the training guard line and instructions.
• Trainer should recommend a certified veterinary doctor for vaccination.
• Trainer should be able to mediate with a specialize vet clinic when the need arises.

Requirements

• SSCE / OND qualification with 3 - 5 years of work experience.
