Job Descriptions
  • As a Senior Analyst, You will be in the Shared Accounting Services function and based at Lagos.
  • The Shared Accounting Services operates around the best framework of Accounting practices, supporting the business operations for the Country in ensuring the entire operations are smooth and transparent.

Duties and Responsibilities
As a Senior Analyst your tasks will be as follows:
  • To perform necessary activities for the month end close of the Accounting Center, including preparation of various journal entries, preparation of monthly balance sheet account reconciliation and calculation and recording of monthly entries as necessary.
  • To perform timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual reporting of reporting package and associated disclosures.
  • To perform analysis of accounts and generate entries as necessary.
  • To comply with and help to achieve internal control over financial reporting compliance, ensure transparency in financial reporting and work within the internal control environment.
  • To be actively seeking opportunities to improve processes also meet commitments and deliver high quality services to business partners, Commit to and deliver professional ownership of service levels, Commit to customer focus and customer satisfaction to ensure business partners are provided the service levels agreed.
  • To participate in special projects as necessary to support the General Accounting department. Also contribute to team spirit and ownership of processes
  • To support and participate in safety, compliance, business ethics, Group Charter, communications and other related activities.
Requirements
  • Ideally you'll hold Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance field with a minimum of 4-6 years of experience in Accounting and/or Controlling and fluency in both spoken & written English language is a must.
