Job Title: Chief Investment Officer

Job Summary

• We are looking for a well-organized and analytical chief investment officer (CIO) to manage our company's investment portfolio. The CIO will provide insight and direction, lead investment teams, complete all fund transactions, and effectively maintain portfolio developments.
• The ideal candidate will possess a sound understanding of all investment policies and guidelines, demonstrate excellent communication skills (written and verbal), and maintain a strong professional work ethic.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Providing investment advice to help the organisation meet its long-term financial objectives
• Sourcing for both local and foreign investors
• Raising of capital for current and future projects
• Initiative and develop relevant strategic relevant partners and alliance
• Evaluating the performance of the organization’s current assets and identifying areas that could be improved
• Monitoring the performance of various investment strategies against benchmarks such as market indices or industry standards
• Recommending changes to the organization’s investment policies based on current market conditions
• Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, ethical standards, and licensing requirements
• Managing investments in stocks, bonds, and other securities for the organization
• Managing an organization’s assets by developing a long-term investment strategy and overseeing its implementation
• Participating in research activities such as analyzing economic trends, industry developments, and company performance
• Serving as a liaison between the organization and external investment managers
• Establish effective and well-organized investment processes.
• Write clear and well-informed investment recommendations based on thorough research and analysis.
• Organize regular investment reports and reviews, including quantitative and qualitative portfolio studies.
• Attend annual meetings, review quarterly financial statements, and remain up-to-date with any important valuation or policy changes.

Qualification and Requirements

• A Degree in Finance or a relevant field from an accredited institution.
• 5-8 years related experience.
• Strong experience leading, supervising, and motivating a team of investment professionals.
• Strategic thinker and proficient in decision-making.
• Ability to communicate effectively and in a professional manner.
• Must be available to resume immediately.
