Job Summary
- You will be responsible for scoping, designing, and developing Bill of Materials with pricing for solutions relating to Microsoft Solutions.
- You will architect for other areas of solution as the company deem fit from time to time.
- Your goal is to win the customer with innovative solutions that solve customers’ problem at a price point that gives competitive edge without compromising quality and integrity.
- You will interface with external vendors, OEM, and sales team in ensuring optimum performance of the solution areas under your portfolio.
Job Description
- Speaking with customers via email, phone, physical meetings for initial requirement capture
- Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Solutions.
- Knowledge of Compute, Backup/DR and System
- Basic knowledge of Network, Wireless, Collaboration, Security Solutions.
- Maintain strong relationships with OEMs, in-market field sellers, partner under your area of concentration.
- Keep up to date with various OEM product announcements and sales incentives and programs under your area of coverage.
- Support sales team, prioritizing effort based on maximizing total impact on team productivity and profit, or as directed by Presales Lead or Sales Lead.
- Proactively scopes the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assesses customers met and unmet needs, and recommends solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the organization
- Coordinates closely with internal sales, sales support, and service resources to align solution design with customers’ business requirements
- Meets assigned targets for profitable sales growth in assigned product lines, market areas, channel, or teams supported
- Opportunistically pursues additional business development opportunities within clients. Collaborates with sales to ensure these opportunities are effectively covered and advanced
- Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards
- Completes required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame
- Builds relationships especially on C-level with customers and global partners that result in superior solutions and deeper loyalty and adoption of ITH’s solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance.
- Establishing the customer environment by designing system configuration, directing system installation, defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards
- Design of new solutions and improving resilience of the current environment
- Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations
- Deliver Proof of Concepts (POC)
- Product presentations and demonstrations
- Support with technical qualification of sales opportunities
- Collaborates with sales, service, engineering, and technical support resources to ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that accurately address customer needs and are appropriately supported by key customer technical decision-makers.
- Provide answers to (technical) questions in a Request for Information (RFI) or a Request for Proposal (RFP)
- Support the team lead in preparing and implementing annual work and resource plans; support their applicability within the overall company strategy
- Recognize and actively seek ways to exploit IT to address complex business, organizational and technical issue
- Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
- Other duties as may be assigned by your supervisor and management
Job Specification
- University Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology or other related courses or numerate disciplines.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience.
- MSc will be an added Advantage
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Microsoft 365 Identity and Services
- Microsoft Office Specialist: Expert (Office 365 and Office 2019)
- MCSE: Core Infrastructure
- Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 + Power Platform Solution Architect Expert
- Virtualization Certificate (VMware/Microsoft/Nu tanix/RedHat), Storage Certificate (DellEMC/IBM/NETAP P), Server Certificate (DellEMC/IBM/HPE), Cloud Certificate (AWS/Azure/Oracle/G oogle)
- Good at problem solving
- Good at organizing and multitasking and prioritize under pressure
- Able to explain technical problems in a simple term
- Work well with people and Willingness to travel
- In depth knowledge of the compute solution (server, storage, virtualization, cloud, backup, disaster recovery, converge/hyper- converge system,
- Microsoft solutions
- Analytical and problem- solving ability.
- Teamwork skills and the ability to feel comfortable working with different teams, clients and groups of staff across an organization;
- Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize your workload.
- Proven hands-on experience on compute system projects
- VCP/MSCE or more
- Hands-on experience with Azure, Office 365, Dynamics and windows server.
