Job Title: Accountant
Location: Lagos
Description
- As the Accountant he/she will be responsible for maintaining Accounting books, records and entries. The Accountant reports to the Finance Director.
Key Accountabilities
- Maintain the accounting books and records - accounting entries
- Customer and supplier balances reconciliation and proposal of payment schedule
- Perform other auxiliary tasks depending on department needs such as:
- Expense Reports
- Issue invoices
- Bank Reconciliations
- Participation in the monthly reporting process
- Filing documents
- Other reports requested by the CFO
- Prepare Tax forms for payment and taking care for all the payments
- Prepare the monthly salary for the company employee and the tax computation.
- Any other request by the CFO.
Requirements
Knowledge/Skills/Experience:
- CPA
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an Accounting Department
- Excellent use of MS Office, especially in using advanced Excel
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Advanced communication and presentation skills
- Team player
- Knowledge of IFRS would be a definite plus

- Quick learner
- Logical and analytical thinking skills
- Patience
- Attention to detail and strong sense of responsibility
