An indigenous Oil & Gas company is recruiting suitable candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Petroleum Engineering Manager

Locations: Lagos (Head Office) and Delta (Plant and Base Operations)

Job Summary

  • Ensure Asset is economically and efficiently developed and exploited in a sustainable and environmental Safe manner.
  • Ensure increase in reserves and production with maximum value for all stakeholders.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Supervise all G & G activities in the assets.
  • Oversee all driling worker completion and well intervention job.
  • Oversee the asset reservoir and well management activities
  • Support new businesses and potentials for growth.
  • Provide support to the production manager and all other managers.
  • Plan and oversee the field development activities working closely with all other asset team managers.
  • Develop and manage the subsurface annual budget. Manage HSE in all subsurface projects while relating with the HSSE Manager.
  • Support the Company's bid rounds with all available resources.
  • Plan and manage all technical data acquisition and storage of the assets.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies and agencies.
  • Oversee the provision of support services such as community relations Any other job that will be assigned by the Chief Operating Officer.

Minimum Qualifications

  • University Degree in Engineering, Geology or a related field (minimum of Second Class, Upper Division).
  • MBA or Master's Degree in Engineering or a Science Discipline will be an added advantage.
  • Membership of professional bodies e.g SPE NAPE, NSE, COREN etc. will be an advantage.

Required Experience:

  • 10 - 15 years relevant experience in a Mid-Sized E&P-with 5 years in management position.

Skills and Competency Requirements:

  • Exploration and Production Technical know-How (Geosciences, Reservoir, Well, Drilling and Facilities Engineering).
  • Oil & Gas Field Development and Projects Management.
  • Proficiency in Petroleum Economics, Financial Management and Budgeting.
  • Strong Analytical Abilities.
  • Stakeholders/Relationship Management.
  • Contract Execution/Implementation and Management.
  • Strong People Leadership/Management, Interpersonal and Conflict Management skills.
