Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Surulere, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Purpose
- Due to expansion, our client is in need of a Maintenance Technician.
Responsibilities
- In charge of performing ongoing facility maintenance and completing repairs on equipment.
- Inspects equipment, and systems to identify any issues.
- Repair faulty equipment.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures.
- Plan and schedule repairs.
- Conduct periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard.
- Perform general maintenance tasks including changing of oil etc.
- Help develop and implement the budget for the maintenance department.
- Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries.
Requirements
- B.Sc / HND in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a recycling company.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems in the recycling field.
- Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
- Effective problem-solving abilities.
