We are a Bilateral Chamber of Commerce with Headquarters in Lagos.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Human Resources Manager / Officer

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Description

• The role holder will be responsible for the HR functions of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed job descriptions to clearly communicate expectations
• Proffer solutions and create strategies from an HR standpoint to suit business plans & goals
• Maintain and propose improvements in organisational structure from time to time
• Create and implement employee welfare initiatives
• Enforce company regulations both internally and externally
• Investigate internal complaints and advise managers on policies like equal employment opportunity, abuse of power, sexual misconduct/harassment, and bullying.
• Administer payroll and benefits systems.
• Track and manage days off, vacations and attendance
• Build and maintain hiring objectives alongside company vision/policy in conjunction with Executives.
• Administer appraisals, administer employee-benefits programs and assist employees with career development.
• Manage the implementation and integration of technology through improved staffing, training, and communication with staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of First Degree in Human Resources or other relevant fields. 
• Professional certification in Human resources e.g. Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM), CIPD, etc will be added advantage
• 5 years cognate experience in HR Management. Experience working in a reputable Company or organisation is an added advantage
• Strategic thinking capabilities
• Good presentation, interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Excellent communication skills (Written and Verbal)
• Basic knowledge of IT and good command of MS applications
• Highly confidential with integrity.
