We are a leading and reputable indigenous non-governmental organization implementing a comprehensive family-focused HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment program in partnership with the different tiers of the Government of Nigeria at national, state, local and site levels. In line with the broadened scope of our work, the need for increased staff capacity around / specific areas have emerged. We therefore require the services of resourceful, experienced and dynamic professionals for the position below:

Job Title: Associate Director, Human Resources

Abuja

Job Descriptions
  • Under the supervision of the Director, Management Support Services, the position holder will manage employee relations and issues.
  • Provide advice regarding compensation and benefits.
  • Manage employee recruitment onboarding and retention activities.
  • Update and monitor policies and procedures.
  • Manage various people-related projects and ensure compliance with Nigerian Labour laws and organization policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills & Ability:
  • Advanced Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration or Human Resources Management.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years progressive experience in Project Administration four (4) of which must be in senior capacity.
  • Must have in-depth knowledge of USG or other donor rule and regulations as they pertain to financial and administrative project functions
General Requirements
  • The position requires proficiency in the use of Microsoft office suite, computer applications and internet/ Emails.
  • Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills are essential.
  • Significant amounts of travel may be involved.
  • Commitment to and understanding of organization's vision, values and principles including rights-based/gender approaches would be expected.
