Job Title: Senior Adherence Associate
Location: Abuja
Job Descriptions
- Incumbent serve as a resource for the evaluation of ongoing pediatric care and treatment programs, and subsequent development of new and/or expanded programs for the care and treatment of HIV/AIDS in infants, children, and teenagers.
- Perform site visits and assessments of treatment facilities to assess, initiate, and enhance pediatric care and treatment services.
- Develop linkages with PMTCT programs to ensure follow-up of HIV-exposed infants
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills & Ability:
- A Degree in Public Health,Nursing or a strongly related discipline is required.
- At least 5 years post NYSC clinical experience in HIV/AIDS care and antiretroviral treatment.
- Experience in managing Pediatric patients and health care program development.
- Excellent grasp of clinical issues and current literature in Pediatrics, HIV/AIDS.
- Training facilitation experience and technical skills to support facility staff in HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment.
General Requirement
- The position requires proficiency in the use of Microsoft office suite, computer applications and internet/ Emails.
- Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills are essential.
- Significant amounts of travel may be involved.
- Commitment to and understanding of organization's vision, values and principles including rights-based/gender approaches would be expected.
