Job Title: Business Development Lead (Technical Products)

Job Description

  • Our client is looking for stellar business development candidates (two positions) to work with business decision makers and developers in leading a new effort of the company’s foray into the business of technical products. They will be critical to seeding and driving growth and adoption for this new product introduction and service.
  • The ideal candidates are expected to be self-starters and natural leaders with some basic experience in sales of technical products.

Nature of Role and Responsibilities

  • The positions are fairly experienced executive roles and are placed within a team. Accountabilities are both team-based and individual-based.
  • Major responsibilities include all typical business development activities ranging across providing an end-to-end go-to-market plan for new products and services and achieving the target sales. They will also need to work with product management and business strategy to formulate a business plan on building arrays of customer funnels for different business types – from startup companies to the larger companies.
  • Developing beneficial and enduring client relationships and continuously reinforcing client’s perception of the company as a credible partner through active persuasion and education over the span of lengthy large deal cycles is a key performance indicator for this role.

Qualifications

  • First Degree in Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, or Business Admin etc
  • 2 - 5 years experience with Technical Products
  • Good Knowledge of Technical Issues and Process and Ability to Grasp Technical Details Quickly
  • Excellent Presentation and Communication Skills (written and spoken)
  • Charisma, Great Appearance, Great Interpersonal Relationship Skills
  • Intelligent, Data-Driven, Ambitious and Goal-Oriented
  • Good Abilities with Digital Tech Applications
