Job Title: Accountant
Location: Nigeria
Expectation/Responsibilities
- Production of statutory based set of management accounts, including balance sheet on a monthly basis to prepare monthly management accounts.
- Preparing payrolls, accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to management.
- Report to management periodically regarding the finances of the establishment.
- Develop, implement, modify, and document record keeping and accounting system, making use of current computer technology and relevant software.
- Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting or other tax requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
- Analyze business operations, trends, cost, revenues, financial commitments and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
- Vendor Account management.
Qualification and Requirements
- Degree/Higher National Diploma, second class upper/upper credit respectively in Accounting.
- Possession of professional qualification will be an added advantage cognate experience in an Accounting firm or marketing industry as well as competence in use of Accounting software
