L&Z Integrated Farms Nigeria Limited incorporated in Nigeria on November 11, 2008, is located in Kano State, as an integrated dairy producer and processor that produce variant of Yoghurts, Fresh milk, Fura Da Nono, Greek Yoghurts, Satchet Yoghurt and Ice cream. L&Z has established a strong brand in the Nigerian dairy sector; standing out as an indigenous player with good quality dairy products and significant local presence across all six (6) geopolitical zones in Nigeria. The Farm owns a large herd of cows (a cross breed of Frisian and local cows – Sokoto Gudali), which produces an average yield of 7- 8 litres per cow/day in contrast to 0.69 litres per cow/day from the indigenous breed.

Job Title: Depot Accountant

Location: Asaba, Delta

Job Descriptions

• Review monthly branch reports, investigate any anomalies / variances that require additional explanation with the branch, and provide summary to the Finance
• Develop an understanding of branch financial operations (Control, Monitory and Compliance).
• Review on line bank statements on a weekly basis; perform bank reconciliations, liaising with the branch to confirm details of payments / cash received, against.
• Raising of branch invoices and posting of customer receipts, RMA, Credit Note & Debit Note on ERP.
• Ensure daily sales reps reconciliation.
• Ensure customers credit limit adherence and debts recovery by sales staff on daily basis.
• Detailed review/reconciliation of customer sales ledger balances and timing of sales.
• Monthly review of branch expense claims and authorization (cash and expense advances), recording any instances of non-compliance to expense guidelines and escalated.
• Branch hub control & audit report follow-ups, chasing outstanding actions and to assist in closing points by the required deadline, developing. additional policies and processes.
• Ensure all Daily/Weekly/Monthly requirement reports are sent to Head Office as at when due.Monthly inventory count.
• Periodic debt circularization.
• Circularization of credit compliance verdicts on depot customers.

Job Knowledge and Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or any Business Management-related course.
• Professional Qualification –ICAN and other related certifications areadded advantage.
• 2+years of post-qualification experience
