Breeze Energy Limited is recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Rigger / Banksman / Slinger

Location: 1094-Usan FPSO, Akwa Ibom
Employment Type: Contract
Assignment Type: Offshore Rotation
Work Schedule: 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off - 28 days on / 28 days off 

Personnel Key Functions

• Inspect, prepare and sling cargo to be transferred
• Select, inspect, prepare and set-up appropriate rigging equipment for safe transfer of cargo
• Relay instructions tthe crane operator during lifting activities
• Monitor & maintain rigging equipment
• Maneuver cargo using heavy equipment
• Disassemble rigging equipment and conduct post-rigging inspection

Requirements, Years of Experience, Training & Certification

• 5 years’ experience as a Rigger/Banksman/Slinger
• OPITO Stage 3 or Equivalent Rigger / Slinger / Banksman certificate
• In-depth knowledge of rigging equipment and heavy machinery.
