Job Title: Head of Strategy

What You’ll Do

• You will assess the payments landscape, looking at both the present day and future developments
• You will make use of PalmPay's global footprint to seek out innovation in the payments domain globally as well as emerging regulatory trends that could influence PalmPay's approach to payments
• You will outline and recommend PalmPay’s strategic position on the payment’s spectrum to optimise, innovate and scale to meet the company's goals
• You will develop a clear set of coherent prioritised actions to deliver against this strategic ambition
• In addition to strategy development for payments, you will lead and execute on specific strategy projects
• You will evangelise payments programs internally to all key stakeholders

Who You Are

• Candidates should possess a B.Sc / Master's Degree qualification.
• 5+ years of professional experience in strategy & planning, preferably at a consulting company or payments or financial services company.
• You are a skilled communicator - able to develop business relationships with internal senior leaders, communicate any issues and need for resolution in a timely manner, and interrogate open items as per the planning deliverable.
• You are Detail-oriented - careful and thorough in accomplishing tasks, managing initiatives, ensuring that one’s own and others’ work and information are complete and accurate.
• Data driven - perform detailed analysis using Excel, SQL, Tableau and other tools with a hands-on attitude. You are skilled at communicating the results of your analyses and others to various audience levels.
• Project management - work on multiple priorities simultaneously and meet time-sensitive deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to understand analyses and communicate across various audiences.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, GoogleSheets, Excel, Tableau, etc.
• Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects, document clearly and concisely, and meet deadlines without supervision.
