Job Description Summary

• The primary professional responsibilities are to provide outstanding teaching, scholarly research, and service to the Department of Economics, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences and Nile University of Nigeria.

Responsibilities

• Teach a variety of Economics courses at the undergraduate level, in traditional, hybrid and online formats
• Twelve credit hour teaching load per semester.
• Establish and maintain office hours to assist students and foster positive interaction with colleagues and external parties.
• Advise undergraduate students on program progression and academic success. Additionally, mentor undergraduate students on professional development.
• Knowledge of, and participation in, curriculum development and program assessment

Minimum Qualifications / Experience

• Earned Doctorate in Economics from an accredited institution
• 4 - 6 years teaching experience in a university or higher institution
