Job Description
- The candidate must have a strong foundation in practical seismic interpretation with specific skills in modelling unconventional resources. The candidate will be part of a multi-disciplinary team within the firm
Responsibilities
- Integrate geophysical (3D, 2D, and microseismic), petrophysical, engineering and geologic data to characterize the subsurface.
- Create subsurface models to understand optimum develop plan.
- Apply seismic attribute analysis to unconventional resources.
- Recommend and oversee new seismic acquisition and reprocessing.
- Communicate results to Management.
- Continuously update and improve models with new data (internal and external)
Requirements
- Candidate must have a Bachelor and Masters (or higher) degree in geology or geophysics with 10+ years of functional experience while employed in the oil and gas industry.
- Familiarity with Paradigm or Petrel.
- Strong math background.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Must be a Nigerian
