Fadac Resources and Services Limited - Our client, a Gadgets Company is one of the leading brands in telecommunications industry. Due to expansion they are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Quality Control Officer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Inspecting output samples using industry-appropriate methods, such as comparing to standards, measuring dimensions and examining functionality of the phones / laptops.
• Checking that the assembly or production line of the phones adheres to standards and procedures and complying with legal requirements
• Reviewing blueprints and specifications to compare to produced phones.
• Recording inspection results by completing reports, summarizing re-works and wastes and inputting data into quality database
• Proposing improvements to the production process
• Supervising inspectors, technicians, and other staff members and providing guidance.
• Ensuring legal obligations are followed and ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies and with health and safety guidelines.
• Overseeing product development procedures to identify any deviations from quality standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of OND.
• 1 - 2 years work experience.
• Must have worked in a phone company as a quality control person.
• Good technical and IT skills.
• In-depth knowledge of quality control procedures and legal standards.
• Good with gadgets 9 Phones, laptops etc).
• Keen attention to detail.
• Up-to-date knowledge of gadgets.
• Understanding of target market and consumer needs.
• Blueprint reading capabilities.
