Job Title: Key Account Manager

Location: Nationwide

Responsibilities

  • Developing productive long-term relationships with key customers
  • Creating and implement long term growth strategies with the key customers
  • Act as a main contact for existing and new customers
  • Reaching sales targets across all key accounts nationwide
  • Implementing a national sales strategy across key accounts
  • Preparing volume forecasts and plans
  • Closely cooperating with other departments involved with your accounts
  • Develop in-store visibility plans and follow-up to achieve timely & effective implementation
  • Initiate & develop annual marketing/promotion plans across key accounts nationwide.

Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing or relevant course
  • 7 years’ experience in FMCG Sales
    • 2 years’ experience in Modern Trade Sales
    • 2 years’ experience in Key Account Sales
    • Sales history in food/beverage/confectionery is a plus
  • Track record of working relationships with top Nigerian Key Accounts: Shoprite, Market Square, Spar, Justrite, etc.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to generate and analyse reports
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proven team management and people-management skills
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, mainly Excel, Word
  • Sales and goal-oriented personality
  • Self-driven and accountable.
