Job Title: Finance / Account Manager

Location: Ikoyi,  Lagos

Job Purpose

• The Finance & Accounts Manager has a primary duty of managing accounting records, ensuring compliance with regulations, publishing financial statements, overseeing accounting operations, analysing financial data, monitoring expenditure, coordinating auditing processes, and ensuring the accuracy of financial information.

Job Responsibilities

• Organize the day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting procedures and allocate resources efficiently
• Create daily reports, maintain records of all transactions, and prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports.
• Develop strategies and plans for financial standardization and growth
• Drive the standardization and utilization of all accounting processes
• Coordinate internal and external audit processes and budgeting processes
• Analyse financial data i.e. reviewing and tracking budget compliance, KPIs, and other financial metrics
• Oversee and prepare income statements and all relevant financial documents and tools
• Report on financial projections (e.g. liquidity and cash flow)
• Manage financial transactions: Processing invoices, recording payments, and tracking expenses
• Train staff on business finance issues

Requirements

• Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Accounting or its equivalent
• 7 years related work experience
• A CPA or CA is desirable
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Proven experience in finance management and audit
• Sound strategic planning and numerical proficiency.

Remuneration
