Job Title: Fabrication Shop Inspector
Location: Nigeria
Job Description
- Mechanical equipment and welding inspection in accordance with standard procedures and established schedules.
- Conducts all phases of routine repetitive inspections for existing piping systems and facilities.
- Inspection of repairs and modifications, and inspection of new construction for compliance with specifications, drawings, codes and craftsmanship.
- Prepares inspection reports with recommendations for corrective action.
- Consults with Maintenance Supervisor, Equipment Inspector, Maintenance Team Leader, or Project Engineer as needed and then reviews reports with operating, maintenance and construction personnel and provides technical counsel on corrective methods and techniques.
- Coordinates equipment repair plans with operating and maintenance personnel.
Requirements
- Higher National Diploma (HND) or equivalent with related training and 9 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry.
