Job Title: Chinese Cook

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

About the Job

• We are looking for an experienced Chinese Cook to join our team! As a Chinese Cook, you will be completely responsible for supervising and coordinating all areas within the culinary department.
• It will be your responsibility to ensure only the highest quality of food, through meticulous consistency, taste and presentation of all dishes.
• Comfortable with working alongside the kitchen team, and providing support on an ongoing basis.
• Monitor the food inventory on a monthly basis, maintaining proper control of orders and purchases and ensuring that all deliveries are received and handled efficiently and in line with company's standards. .
• Preparation of Chinese dishes, cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Maintain the food timetable.
• Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas
• Order supplies and equipment
• Clean kitchen and work areas

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess a minimum of SSCE qualification with 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Should know how to prepare Chinese cuisines with or without supervision
• Must be a fast learner.
