Job Title: Credit Operations / Underwriter (Public Sector)

Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing of client’s loan requests.
- Evaluating client’s financial information.
- Assessing client’s risk ratio.
- Presenting approved or rejected loans to management.
- Evaluating client’s credit worthiness and risks.
- Reviewing and complying by credit policies of the company.
- Spooling weekly loan reports to the BDM.
- Crosschecking and communicating loan balances, liquidation balances to clients.
- Liaising with IPPIS contact and other public sector organizations for repayment collections and reconciliations.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Finance, Banking, Business, or a similar field.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a credit officer.
- Excellent knowledge of loan application procedures and best lending practices according to state laws and regulations.
