We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Shift Fitter

Location: (Field-based) Sagamu, Ogun
Travel: 0% - 30%

Job Grade (Band 1-6) : 1
Reports To: Mechanical Maintenance Manager
Internally Relates with: Process Operation & Technical Service

Duties, Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Check and calibrate instruments to make sure they are accurate
  • Carry out quality inspections
  • Timely response to equipment breakdowns
  • Fix faults and arrange for replacements to be installed
  • Monitor specialised equipment like Extractor, DT, Flaker, Expander, m/seal pumps, Centrifuge, etc.
  • Repairing equipment; Handle maintenance of major specialized equipment;
  • Obtain specialist components, fixtures or fitting
  • Plan and undertake scheduled maintenance
  • Timely respond to breakdowns; Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation;
  • Strictly adhere and conform to all QMS standard
  • Ensure data are used or processed for the purpose set for such data and ensure absolute confidentiality while processing or using personal data. Get the consent of the data subject before collecting, processing, and using data.

Education/Knowledge, Skills, Attributes, Experience & Other Requirements

  • SSCE or Degree in any field
  • 4-5 years working experience in maintenance of oil plant
  • Strong mechanical repair/troubleshooting and metal working skills.
  • Proficiency in Machine Repair, Machine Tool Operations, Pipefitting and Welding.
  • Functional knowledge of mechanical components (valves, pipe fittings, bearings, motors, gearboxes, etc.).
  • Ability to read and/or interpret mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic blueprints or schematics.
