Job Title: Human Resources Manager

Location: Lagos (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer

Key Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop, Maintain, Review and Implement HR policies, procedures, processes & programs that support overall corporate and business objectives including recruitment & retention, competitive compensation and benefits, regulatory compliance, organizational development, payroll administration and employee record management etc.
  • Lead and direct the Human Resource team to deliver a comprehensive HR service to the business.
  • Collaborate with the senior management team to establish, oversee and facilitate processes that prevent internal conflicts among staff members and departments when they occur.
  • Develop and make ongoing recommendations to the management team on means of strengthening organizational learning, knowledge management, and change management in support of strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with line managers to develop and update annual staffing/recruitment plans and advise senior management on annual staffing plans.
  • Champion collaborative cross-functional relationships with Recruiting, Payroll/Accounting, Finance, other teams, and hiring managers to ensure the successful onboarding and off-boarding of new employees and contingent workers.
  • Develop human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information; recommending courses of action.

Eligibility Criteria

  • A Degree in Human Resources, Management or any related field, Masters will be an added advantage.
  • Certification in Human Resources i.e. CIPM and its equivalent.
  • Have experience in a high-growth startup environment with constant change as your companions: 5 - 7 years of experience as a People Partner, HR Manager, HR Program Manager or similar role.
  • Good knowledge of stakeholder management.
  • Minimum of a graduate degree from a top university i.e Covenant university.
  • Knowledge of HRIS and payroll systems.
  • Experience in the Supply chain and Logistics industry is an added advantage
  • Travels: Traveling on a need or job requirement basis
