HR-EX Consulting - Our client, an end-to-end logistics tech API platform that connects businesses with trucks and warehouses across Africa, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Logistics Lead

Location: Lagos (Hybrid)
Travels: Travelling on a need or job requirement basis

Key Role & Responsibilities

• Oversee the activities of shipping and receiving processes, directly managing the logistics operational process according to agreed SLA.
• Develop and maintain schedules, onboard new trucks and warehouses, and set department goals based on company expectations.
• Manage all logistics process, from trips fulfilment to warehouse request and fulfilment.
• Support overall performance and efficiency by developing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) throughout logistics operations.
• Evaluate employee performance to ensure that the entire team runs efficiently while guiding to make team members more effective.
• Continually try to improve and develop business performance within the constraints of legislation, costs and rising environmental pressures.
• Implement ideas, process improvement and effectively manage customers’ expectations
• Keep track of quality, quantity, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency
• Continually contribute to process and technology improvement.
• Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets, and plan, monitor inbound and outgoing deliveries.
• Organize warehouse and ensure the technology scheduling of warehouse provision is perfectly working.

Eligibility Criteria

• BSc in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain.
• Minimum of 3 years work experience.
• Proven working experience working in logistics (warehouse, Haulage and planning).
• Record of successful distribution and logistics management.
• Proficient in standard logistics software.
• Minimum of a graduate degree from a top university i.e Covenant university.
• Understanding of logistics technology process.
