Save the Children is looking for experienced development professionals to work within the Nigeria Country Programme. The role will be critical for the delivery of results for children expected by this programme:

Job Description
  • 30% of his/her time to provide strategic leadership and support to the Logistics department to ensure that the logistics function of our operational platform across the country is strengthened and able to support effectively and efficiently the delivery of our programmes and the growth of our portfolio while the other 70% is to lead on the strategic and operational decentralization process with the overall objective to have a robust operational platform that will position Save the Children International towards its SC Members, its donors and in-country partners as a leading Organisation capable to deliver more and be a real catalyst for change for Nigerian children through the full spectrum of child programming.
Qualifications
  • S/he should have at least a master's degree in development or humanitarian field. MBA or any other relevant degree with 7 years of national and/or International experience in senior management capacities/role of which at least 4 years with an INGO;
  • Robust experience of NGO project cycle management and experience of working within a complex and matrix organisation structure; Strong experience in planning;
  • Experience of building and developing the operational capacity of large teams through the use of training. performance management frameworks and development plans;
  • Willingness to travel to operations areas at least 50% of his/her time this is mandatory for this position
