Save the Children is looking for experienced development professionals to work within the Nigeria Country Programme. The role will be critical for the delivery of results for children expected by this programme:

Job Description
  • The Child health adviser in Lagos will take the lead in ensuring the smooth implementation of the Stop Diarrhoea Project in 3 LGAs of Lagos State.
  • He/she will provide technical input In project design, roll out, and implementation; including ensuring that project outputs delivered are of high quality.
Qualifications
  • S/he should have at least a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in health with 7 years' experience in related field or a Postgraduate qualification in Public Health with a minimum of 4 years' experience In related field and also possess basic clinical and public health qualifications; 5 years health programme management experience with l/NGO in Nigeria: very good understanding of national health policies and strategies, programmes and stakeholders on Child Health in Nigeria including child survival issues, common childhood illnesses and childhood immunizations, immunizations programming/ coverage issues in Nigeria; clinical experience in paediatrics or community Paediatrics in Nigeria and mastertrainer/ToT on IMCI and CCM.
