Job Description

• Our client is in search of a Smart Card Machine Operator. As a machine operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running and maintenance of the company’s machine thereby ensuring production of high quality products.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up smart card printing machinery for operation
• Start machinery and make adjustments to machinery when necessary to improve performance
• Operate machinery and equipment according to instructions
• Troubleshoot issues and perform maintenance
• Perform quality control, follow reporting and record keeping procedures, and report problems to supervisor
• Comply with all safety and health regulations
• Clean machineries and maintain cleanliness in work area
• General administrative functions related to the role.

Qualifications

• OND or HND from a reputable institution with a background in Engineering or a similar field
• Previous smart card machine operating experience in a manufacturing facility, or similar relevant experience.
• 2 - 5 years work experience.

Requirements:

• Must be knowledgeable in the use of smart card machines
• Understanding of smart card production and plant processes
• Analytical and numerical skills: ability to perform mathematical calculations (add,subtract, multiply, divide) in different units of measurement
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Ability to work in a team and ensure excellent quality product with no errors
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
• Willingness to work in shifts (late or early hours, weekends, and overtime if necessary).

Salary
N80,000 - N100,000 / month.
