Job Title: Subject Teacher (Chemistry)

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Must be responsible for cultivating the students’ interest in education and development.
  • Responsibilities will be and not limited to grading assignments, evaluating students’ progress, and planning educational activities.
  • Must demonstrate outstanding presentation skills, interpersonal abilities while serving as role models to the students.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare course materials such as syllabus, homework assignments, and lesson notes.
  • Maintain student attendance records, grades, and other required records.
  • Plan, evaluate, and revise curriculum, course content, and course materials and methods of instruction.
  • Maintain records of students' assessment results, progress, feedback, or school performance, ensuring confidentiality of all records.
  • Develop teaching or training materials, such as handouts, study materials, or quizzes.
  • Proficient in the use of the computer and internet(desirable).
  • Competent in the field/areas of specialization.
  • Supervising classes to ensure all students are learning in a safe and productive environment.

Requirements / Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree, B.Sc. in Chemistry; PGDE will be an added advantage
  • An Education qualification / certification is highly preferred
  • At least 2 years work experience.
  • Teacher must be able to teach WAEC AND JAMB CLASS
