MBIS International, a reputable Nursery and Primary education, is recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the following positions below:

Job Title: Curriculum Support Officer

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Curriculum Support Officer will be responsible for providing high level curriculum administrative support to the Director of Studies and teaching staff, including managing pupils and teacher timetables, class structures and adjustments, as well as managing a range of curriculum related databases and lesson observations.
  • The Curriculum Support Officer will also coordinate examination timetables and invigilation, as well as organise and coordinate pupil/teacher conferences and open days.

Qualification and Skills Required
The successful applicant will ideally:

  • Reside in Ibadan and be able to easily commute to Jericho, Ibadan
  • Have a B.Ed / BA in English Language and a Post Graduate qualification in Education Management or related field gained from a reputable Institution.
  • 3-5 Years Post Qualification Experience working in a similar/related role
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Have highly developed interpersonal skills to be able to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders; having thorough knowledge of school policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of standard office practices and procedures, equipment, and administrative techniques
  • Have the ability to provide input into the development, implementation and monitoring of business systems combined with the ability to create, operate, manipulate databases, spreadsheets and extract reports.
  • The successful applicant should also have strong research and analytical skills with the ability to use initiative and problem solving skills to identify priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Be able to multi-task, handle interruptions and work independently in the absence of direct supervision

To be suitable for this role, you will need to demonstrate the following work related requirements:

  • Ability to provide effective administrative support and input into the development, implementation and monitoring of business systems.
  • Initiative and sound organisational skills with the ability to identify priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Sound research, conceptual and analytical skills with the ability to provide innovative thinking in problem solving.
  • Well-developed computer skills, including the ability to create, operate, manipulate databases, spreadsheets and extract reports.
  • Sound written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to liaise with individuals at all levels and work effectively in a team environment.
