We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Upholsterer
Location: Lagos Mainland, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Make, Rebuild and Repair Upholstered Articles Such as Chairs, Sofas, Beds and Mattresses.
- Attach finishes, including buttons, trim, tassels and other decorative accessories, to complete orders according to specifications.
- Measure and cut fabric or leather pieces with the aid of patterns or stencils and industrial cutting tools to precise sizes and dimensions.
- Inspect wooden frame work for defects and make repairs as needed prior to upholstery application and other finish work.
- Conferring with HODto determine materials and cost of furniture items to be made or repaired.
- Making and repairing wooden frames, and removing and replacing defective springs
- Measuring and cutting materials and covering furniture
Requirement
- Candidates should possess an SSCE / GCE / NECO qualification.
