- The Production Geochemist will be a part of Energy Technology Company (ETC); Reservoir and Production Engineering and Well Productivity group.
- This position will provide geochemical characterization of reservoir fluid (oil and gas) properties to support reservoir characterization and production monitoring activities.
- The geochemical data will be integrated with G & G and engineering data to develop asset life cycle solutions from field appraisal through development.

- Conduct geochemical characterization of reservoir fluid (oil and gas) properties to support reservoir characterization and production monitoring activities.
- Work with the characterization centers and subject matter experts (SMEs) on determining hydrocarbon (bulk, molecular, and isotopic) composition of reservoir fluid, defining the relationship between the composition and physicochemical properties of the fluid, and assessing the origin (geological and/or production processes) of spatial and temporal composition variations in reservoirs of an oil field. The derived fluid geochemical data will be integrated with geological and engineering data to develop the solutions to address issues encountered throughout the asset life cycle, from field appraisal, through development, production and eventually field abandonment.
Required Qualification
- Master's Degree required in Geology or Petroleum Engineering (reservoir or production) or related discipline.
- Minimum of 5years and above of experience in oil or gas.
- Knowledge of production and reservoir engineering and experience in using geochemistry to characterize various formations.
- Customer focus - Demonstrated effectiveness in determining customer needs, educating customer on solutions, and monitoring progress of initiatives/activities.
- Communication - Ability to effectively communicate technical and project development issues to diverse audience.
- Demonstrated competency in initiating projects and designing technical programs to help solve reservoir and production related problems.
